Campfires and any use of fire are prohibited in the Mt. Timpanogos Wilderness Area and the Silver Lake Basin of the Lone Peak Wilderness Area. You may not possess or transport any part of a tree or plant material for making a fire in these areas. This restriction is in effect at Fire Restriction Stage 1. Exemptions apply only to persons with a permit and to official emergency personnel.
